How does this Ouija app work?

The app offers a 'Think' (intent) mode where you mentally focus a question and select a category — Love, Guidance, Future, Warning, or Spirit — then a 10-second focus countdown precedes a planchette-spelled answer.

Is the Ouija board real?

Scientifically, planchette movement is explained by the ideomotor effect — small unconscious muscle movements that feel involuntary. Spiritually, traditions disagree on whether something else uses that channel.

Is using a Ouija board dangerous?

Mainstream psychology considers it psychologically safe but suggestible. Many traditions recommend a respectful frame, clear closing, and avoiding use when emotionally distressed or under the influence.

Why is this tool in beta?

The Think mode response model is still being tuned and the session-log UX is iterating. Results may be unpredictable and the tool is for entertainment and reflection, not literal prediction.

Press Begin Focus, then hold your question silently in mind through the 10-second countdown. Breathe slowly.
The planchette channels a message. Afterwards you can add an optional reflection recording what you were asking, then save to your log.

Ask mode

Switch to Ask.
Type your question and press Ask.
The planchette glides across the letters and reveals an answer, saved to your log.
